Non-Human Primates had Brain Language Pathway

Until recently the earliest language pathway was believed to have originated 5 million years ago. However, it seems that the auditory system was evolving toward language in nonhuman primates 25 million years ago. This conclusion was reached after brain scans of humans, apes and monkeys. The auditory system found in other primates is an evolutionary forerunner of the human language pathway. Therefore, there is a clear evolutionary path toward auditory cognition and vocal communication. Language capability is nascent in nonhuman primates. Proof of early language development was there all the time but was never understood before. Analysis of the human brain shows a strong structure on the left side of the language pathway. The right side has changed from what it was in other primates: it has diverged into non-auditory parts of the brain. It is now believed that the path to language capability began more than 25 million years, probably in preprimate animals. Brain scans of n...

Ninety Percent of Human Genes are Not Studied

From what you read you would think that genetic science is going ahead in leaps and bounds. Really it has been stuck in the same place for a decade. Ninety percent of human genes are not studied because they are too complicated. These genes impact on people just as much as the 10 percent of "easy" ones. Most genes are inside cell nuclei so they are difficult to get to. However, dealing with the obvious is not sustainable. The 90 percent have to be studied. Hardly any funding at all is allocated to lesser known gene research. Scientific papers keep on regurgitating the familiar. PHD students have tunnel vision. Industry can provide a firm basis to examine the known. The little known has no industrial foundation. A study to apply existing learning tools to the neglected genes failed as people moved back to what is safe. Clearly, scientific principles are not being applied. Critical knowledge to identify what is true about DNA is being selectively ignored. Throwing out the ...

Fossil Shows Neanderthals and Denisovans Interbred

A fragment of a long bone from a hominid at least 13 years old shows that it had a Denisovan father and Neanderthal mother. The specimen was found in Denisova Cave in Russia in 2012. Because it was found indicates that other cross breeding occurred. Neanderthals obviously migrated to eastern Eurasia from western Europe. They were not "stuck" in regions around the Iberian Peninsular. Genetic analysis shows that the father of the Neanderthal/Denisovan adolescent also had some Neanderthal ancestry, so the groups were coexisting in the east. It is believed by scientists that Neanderthals interbred with humans and had fertile young. However, this is not possible as Neanderthals have 24 pairs of chromosomes while humans have 23. Interbreeding of Denisovans and Neanderthals could occur as they both had 24 pairs of chromosomes. + so denisovan is neanderthal us dna ox humans a denisovans i fossil oh mother ah genes by mixed id years + ~ ha denisovan in neanderthal on dna an hum...

Gold Nanoparticle Optical Disks Have Half Millennium Storage

Despite all the technological achievements there is no real practical way to store data for the posterity of the human race. All the methods we have break down over time.  New optical disks that use gold particles may be the answer. They have a 10TB capacity and it is claimed that they will last six centuries. The disks can be mass produced. Currently, standard disks used by data centers hold 2TB of data and last only two years. If the new technology is for real it will be a huge step forward. The best disks all optical, we have to date last for a maximum of 50 years and they have not been put into service because of high cost. Australian and Chinese researchers say there is still a long way to go before the gold particle strategy is fully developed. Gold nanomaterials are combined with hybrid glass which produces a structure with great strength. Data can be stored across the whole spectrum of visible light rays. There is a trade off :  increasing the storage lev...

DNA is Predictive of Number of Children You Have

▶DNA are concerned about fertility. They are predictive.| blog DNA or about oh have so DNA to predictive ah you oh fertility it babies predictive on number so you or have blog | found. ◀ | Clearly, how many children one has depends on chance or planning. Single women usually get pregnant "accidentally", which married females do generally plan when they have children. This is similar for men. Researchers now say it is in your genes - presuming DNA affects your behavior.      | fertility you DNA or predictive or about up have we number by DNA as children in you ho fertility oh predictive la number ha babies children go have oh fertility pregnant number | Claims are that 12 areas of your DNA  (24 specific genes)  determine the sum of kids and your age when you have them. Two hundred and fifty academics examined a quarter of a million men and women. They found that women who had children later in life had genes pushing back the onset of menstruation...

Aboriginals and Papuans Have Another Pre-Human in their DNA

Research shows Neanderthal man, Denisovan and another in DNA. Paleontologists have all the answers about man. They have a complete map of the evolution of humans beings. If you think this way, you are wrong! Evolution to the present is just based on a few old bones.  Modern examination from other sources it changing established theory.   Neanderthal man Denisovan Two prehumans are known: Neanderthals and Denisovans. However, genetic research has now shown that there are traces of another extinct human species in human DNA. Australian Aboriginals of north-east Australia and the people of Papua New Guinean carry these genes.     Neanderthal man evolution Astralo-Pacific people have about 2.8 per cent of Neanderthal in their genetic makeup. It was believed that another 6 per cent was from Denisovans. The latest research shows this estimate to be wrong. Only 1.11 is clearly Denisovan. This leaves 4+ per cent from another prehuman or maybe more sub-speci...

New Theory - Tuberculosis Arose From Adoption of Fire

Fire caused tuberculosis according to new archaeological theory. Evolution is very powerful. A change in climate leads to the survival of those who suit the new climate more adequately. A series of ice ages meant hairy people with narrow nasal passages (to warm the damaging cold air on it way into the lungs) passed on their genes. People living in central Africa remained in a warm climate, so they did not have to adapt. A new premise is that the adoption of fire by early humans caused the emergence of tuberculosis. Apparently, many people crouching around a fire set the ideal conditions for TB to take hold. Just a minute though. Didn't Africans also cook meat on fires and kept near to it for warmth on cold nights? They certainly did. No, this new theory does not hold up. It is assumed that TB is mainly a thing of cold climates.  More correctly, molecular archaeological evidence shows that TB began in Africa. Just how scientists reached the conclusion that humans ...

Not Much Sleep with First-Night-Effect

SAnthropology: we have evolved to be on guard on the first night when sleeping in a new place. Man is still a hunter. We may live in cities and believe we are advanced but our genes have evolved to survive in the wild outdoors beneath the starlit night sky. If we move into a new environment getting a good night's sleep on the first night is a problem. Our brain is "on-guard" against unknown dangers. This phenomenon is in all animals. One hemisphere of the brain will sleep while the other remains on sentry duty. This "first-night-effect" is permanent. There is no cure because it isn't an illness. After the first night the brain adapts, records the new environment and deems it to be safe. Tests show that the left hemisphere sleeps lighter in a new situation. Slow-wave activity is weaker than the right hemisphere. Furthermore, the default-mode network which involves mind wandering is more active. This indicates that the brain is checking th...

Neanderthals and Denisovans Walk Around in Heaven

Anthropology: Adam and Eve hominids in the Garden of Eden. Humans were not alone on the evolutionary path. There would always be at least one more type of hominid existing nearby until the last 13,000 years (Hobbits). If the number of chromosomes was very close then fertile offspring were possible. The case for neanderthal closeness is still not yet known for sure. Some make bold claims about humans having neanderthal genes, but note that we did have a common ancestor. "This is the Garden of Eden love, from the volcano God." Take it with a pinch of salt about us being Neanderthal, Denisovan, human hybrids. This is fairytale stuff. Neanderthals were mainly in Europe and Denisovans were for the most part in southeast Asia. This would mean that humans from Africa would be genetically pure. However, the Neanderthal gene chains are also in them. Perhaps these genes are common to most hominids. Only a few decades ago many scientists loudly proclaimed that people ca...
